Our classes are structured to help you communicate with your dog in order to stop bad habits and develop good behaviors. Group training sessions encourage socialization and success. FREE PETCO Parenting Guide filled with valuable coupons, training tips and care information is included for Puppy and Basic Classes. Classes are all just 6 weeks.
Start your puppy out on the right paw. These group dog training classes include problem-solving ideas for socializing, housetraining, chewing, teething, digging and more. Puppy Classes are designed to train puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age. FREE Parenting Guide Book included. Older Dogs Can Learn Too!
These group dog training classes are designed to help socialize and train older puppies and adult dogs, and include problem-solving ideas for basic behavior problems. Through various group lessons and discussions, you will learn how to successfully communicate with your pet. FREE Parenting Guide Book included.
The American Kennel Club's CGC Class is designed to prepare you to take the Canine Good Citizen test as well as improve on commands you've already learned. Lessons include the importance of greeting a friendly stranger, walking through a crowd, ignoring distractions and more. AKC certified evaluators administer the AKC CGC test on a regular basis in many of our stores.
Clicker Training is the fastest growing dog training method in the field and PETCO is proud to partner with Karen Pryor, one of the nation's leading Clicker Trainers, to offer this class to pet parents. You and your dog will learn useful and fun tricks you can use every day.
Private Lessons are designed for people who cannot attend scheduled group sessions or desire one-on-one instruction. Private Lessons can be tailored to your dog's individual needs. Single sessions, and four or six lesson packages are available at a discounted price.
Rally-Obedience: combines the fast paced world of agility with a course of basic commands. This class is intended for dogs with previous obedience training. Call store for more information.
Intermediate & Advanced Classes: for people continuing their basic or puppy education. Call store for more details.

AKC
Canine Good CitizenThe dog does not need to be a pure bred dog, nor an AKC
dog. For more info on CGC certification & testing you can
check out the website:
AKC CGC
Info & Events. There usually is a minimal fee
($10-$15), then upon
passing the test, you send the paperwork to AKC with $5.00
and receive the certificate/award back in the mail.
